Appalachian Herbal Co. was born from a deep love of the land — the ridgelines, the fence rows thick with elderberry, the old ways of tending to body and home with what grows underfoot. We're a small-batch herbal body and skin care line handcrafted in Wheeling, WV, showcasing at the Wheeling Artisan Center, in the heart of Appalachian country.

Our Philosophy

We believe self-care should be simple, honest, and free from harm. Every product we make is a clean, effective alternative to the synthetic-laden options that crowd store shelves — no endocrine disruptors, no harsh chemicals, nothing you wouldn't find in a grandmother's garden or apothecary.

Our ingredients are plant-powered and purposefully chosen: beef tallow, beeswax, cold-pressed oils, and botanicals like calendula, chamomile, and comfrey — each selected for its time-tested properties and its connection to Appalachian folk traditions.
